Randwick Bloodstock Agency (established 1987) is a Hunter Valley (New South Wales) based agency, with affiliations and clients worldwide. We are a full service bloodstock agency, which specialises in the buying and selling of thoroughbred broodmares and broodmare prospects (minimum price $10,000). The agency's principals, Brett and Rachael Howard have spent all their working lives within the racehorse industry. Their knowledge and wealth of experience is constantly being utilised by many of Australia's most successful owners, trainers and breeders. They have operated at the highest levels within the industry, with Brett returning to the agency in 2006 after seven years with the world's number one thoroughbred organisation Coolmore Stud.

STOP PRESS: 6th Mar - A second 2009/2010 Group 1 winner for FASTNET ROCK, with 3yo colt WANTED winning the VRC Newmarket Handicap at Flemington today. FASTNET ROCK now leading 2nd Season Sire, 2nd on the 3yo Sires Table, and in the top 10 on the General Sires Table. It has been widely reported that FASTNET ROCK'S 2010 service fee is likely to be around $125,000+GST. Dual winning mare by leading sire STRAVINSKY, damsire of leading European 3yo miler in 2009, RIP VAN WINKLE (Ascot Queen Elizabeth II S., Gr.1, Goodwood Sussex S., Gr.1). Her dam OPTIMISTIC LASS is a Group 2 and Group 3 winner by a 'breed shaping' stallion MR PROSPECTOR. She sells in-foal to Australasia's hottest young sire, FASTNET ROCK (early Oct cover). ORAIA is exceptionally well priced at $215,000+GST or near offer. As it appears likely that FASTNET ROCK will stand for $125,000+GST this coming season, this is effectively valuing ORAIA at well below the $185,000 that she sold for at the 2007 Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale as an unplaced racing/breeding prospect.
