Auction Sales Consignment

RBA is now offering breeders, racehorse owners and trainers an auction sales consignment service.

We believe this to be a first for Australia in that we will ONLY specialise in the preparation and consignment of female racing and breeding stock (plus their foals or weanlings) to auction sales conducted by both William Inglis and Magic Millions in NSW, Queensland and Victoria.

Each year breeders will spend thousands of dollars to have their yearling done up for a yearling sale, however, when it comes to selling their breeding stock, which in many cases can be worth significantly more than their yearlings, they pay little or nothing to have their fillies and mares professionally prepared, presented and marketed at an auction. If you're trying to extract every possible dollar from the market place for your yearling, it makes sense to take the same approach for your breeding or racing stock?

Sellers now have three options in respect of how RBA can approach selling your horse:

• Option 1: send your horse to our farm and we will market it privately. If we are unable to locate a buyer in the private market place, we can then prepare and consign your horse to auction.
   
• Option 2: send your horse to our farm and we will prepare and consign your horse straight to auction, WITHOUT offering it privately prior to auction.
   
• Option 3: we are still happy to market your horse privately, WITHOUT the horse coming to our farm (but we do strongly believe we have an improved chance to sell your horse if it's on our farm).
